We are a little bit more than half way through the 20 Day Anxiety Challenge, woo!

I’d like to say my stress and anxiety levels have gone down since starting this, but I’d be lying if I did. If anything its gotten bit worse trying to do some of these things.. Maybe its the expectations I have for myself? Maybe its the expectations of my doctor because I told her about it? Maybe its because some of these challenges are things I’d never want/do for myself?

Maybe its just a combination of everything. And I’m working on the fact that it is OKAY to not excel at all of them, or even do them. I’m a busy mom of three, its perfectly fine to not be able to do some of these things exact.

Just to recap, here is the list of things that should be “done” by this point:

  1. Spend 20 minutes outside
  2. Color a page in a coloring book
  3. Write down five things you’re grateful for
  4. Get hydrated
  5. Ply loud music and dance
  6. No social media for a day
  7. Take a long bubble bath
  8. Ten minutes of meditation
  9. Do your favorite cardio exercise for 20 minutes
  10. Go to bed early
  11. Start a good vitamin regimen

I’ve “failed” six of those tasks.


I’ve been keeping a “journal”, so when all is said and done, I can let you know how it went and what some of my thoughts were at the time.
