Okay, so earlier you may have seen my recipe for black garlic chicken and may be a bit confused.

Well, long story short.. when I made this for dinner last night I wanted to try it with a HelloFresh twist to it. So here is how it went….



  • 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese (again, mozzarella cheese works fine)
  • 4 chicken breast (you can use more if they’re on the smaller side)
  • 1/2 cup or so of Italian Herb bread crumbs
  • 6 cloves black garlic
  • salt & pepper to taste



  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. In a small bowl, mash the cloves of black garlic with a fork until it forms a paste, you may need a bit of water for this
  4. Combine mayo and Parmesan cheese in with the garlic paste
  5.  Lay chicken on baking sheet -breast side up
  6. Divide the garlic/mayo mixture evenly among the chicken, spreading it across the top and sides of each piece
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
  8. Bake for 15 minutes
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle bread crumbs on each piece of chicken
  10. Return to oven and bake for additional 20 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked



I served mine with cheesy potatoes and an ‘apple-walnut-cranberry salad.’
