Today was 'day one' for our advent calendar, as well as our '12 Days of Donations.' . . For our advent calendar, day one was a Little Debbie Christmas Tree cake, for putting up and decorating the tree. We actually had to run out and get a replacement today so we're a little behind with our decorating! . . For our 12 days of Donation, we are collecting donations for both our local homeless shelter and animal shelter. Today they kids chose blankets and canned kitten food. . . With the holiday's literally right around the corner, there are more and more sweets around the dinner table. . Even when there isn't, it can sometimes be a bit challenging to get my kids to brush their teeth for the whole recommended two minutes... . . .
